"Beaver's Lair"

About six miles down the road from East Rosebud Lake is this wonderful beaver pond surrounded by several different Beaver dams and a family of many generations of beavers. During the summer water lilies come to the surface of the water. The nearby area is a swamp which would require waders to get into during the summer. One day I decided to go in there to see what the ponds looked like close up instead of from the road. This is what I found. The ice was a grand reflection of all the colors in the sky. This summer I plan to put on the waders and find my way back into this spot.
